USB sticks infected by worms

Recall how easy it used to be, over 30 yrs ago, to get your floppy disc infected?  Back then I was working in the Uni computing department where we used to spend a good deal of time trying to save a students work from infected discs.

There have been USB stick viruses before, but now it appears there are now new viruses which spread worms from machine to machine and infect networks of computers to steal data via malware.

If your details get hacked from a member website then its not too much of an issue as you can simply CHANGE your password, or email address.  But when its your DNA you are a little stuck!

The reports says no DNA was leaked, but how sure can they be?
